Investing in mental resilience
In modern, rapidly changing organisations, it is important to support employees not only professionally, but also mentally. It is not unusual for problems – either personal or work-related – to be inadequately communicated. The manager and employee may then find themselves at an impasse, with the employee not daring to be vulnerable and the manager hesitating to address the issue. Coaching provides a rapid, cost-effective way of breaking through the impasse.
The effectiveness of coaching is demonstrated by the findings of a meta-analysis carried out by KPMG and Erasmus University on executive coaching. People who have completed such a coaching programme observe the following results:

In short: coaching has a positive impact on both the employee and the organisation.
At gevoelszaken, we provide mental coaching that empowers your employees to grow, solve problems and achieve goals. Whether their challenges concern workload, conflict, or questions about professional development, coaching helps your employees gain a new perspective on tackling these matters.
How does it work?
The coaching programme always starts with an intake in which we explore the employee’s concerns and see whether they connect with the coach. After that, we create an action plan with clearly defined goals and steps for the programme. With the employee’s consent, this plan can also be coordinated with the manager.
Most programmes consist of four to six 45-minute sessions, during which employees actively work on their personal and professional goals. A brief report is drawn up following each session, documenting progress and reinforcing what has been learned. At the end of the programme, the employee creates a concrete action plan for further development, for which they are personally responsible. Naturally, agreements are made regarding the extent of the manager’s involvement in this process. The main priority is for the employee to feel safe enough to work on their own process.
